Registration for CactusCon kids is separate from the main conference. Registration is available on Eventbrite.

We are excited to host CactusCon Kids again this year as part of CactusCon 14. The Kids’ conference will be in the Delta Marriot hotel adjacent to the Mesa Convention Center. Parents/guardians are required to stay on-site if your child is 11 years and younger.

Overview

Join us for CactusCon Kids - a free, hands-on conference where students learn, explore, build, and compete.

Kids will dive into the amazing world of computers. This is where creativity, exploration, problem solving and ethical hacking come together. They’ll learn how to solder components and build hardware, explore what’s inside a computer, and try their hand at coding designed for all skill levels. Curious minds can learn about cryptography, practice lock picking in a safe, supervised environment. They will even get to explore the hardware components of computers. We are also hosting a Capture the Flag competition (separate registration required here) for students that are new to CTFs.

The day will be sprinkled with InfoSec Jeopardy, where participants test their knowledge, cheer on their friends, and discover just how fun cybersecurity can be.

Whether they love taking things apart, solving puzzles, or making their own tech creations, kids will find something to spark their imagination.

Learn. Tinker. Break (things safely). Build. And have a blast!
