Details

We are excited to host CactusCon Kids again this year as part of CactusCon 12. The Kids’ conference will be in the Apache Room in Building A of the Mesa Convention Center. Parents/guardians are required to stay on-site if your child is 11 years and younger.

Your CCK badge will allow you into the building but not into the main conference’s talks and workshops. If you would like access to the main conference, please see the registration desk in Building C.

9:30am - check-in opens

9:30am - workshops open

3:00pm - check-in closes

4:00pm - workshops close

Overview

There will be mini-workshops led by facilitators to guide participants through activities. Some, like the escape room challenge, will be more fun to do with friends or a parent and other stations are better done as an individual. 

The workshops we have this year are: coding, networking, hacking, computer graveyard, badge building (badges provided), and an escape room challenge.

There is no set schedule for the mini-workshops. Attendees can go from station to station and participate in as many as they like. Badges are provided at the badge building workshop (while supplies last).

Check-in opens at 9:30am and will remain open until 3:00pm. There are concessions available in Building C in the Main Hall and there will be plenty of seating available in the Apache Room and in the lobby of Building A.
